Changes have been implemented to limit access to health care facilities to support the measures that have been put in place to reduce the spread of COVID-19 virus.

We understand these restrictions are concerning for our patients and their families; however, they are in place to protect our patients, the public and our staff during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Public access to Cape Breton Regional Hospital (CBRH) is limited to the front entrance. A security desk at this entrance will be staffed by security and NSHA personnel. Visitors will be asked which patient they are visiting or which health program or service they are looking to access. This information will be verified before the visitor will be allowed to enter the hospital. Visitors will also be asked screening questions.

There will not be any access to CBRH through the pedway link with Health Park.
